This work combines conceptual analysis, systems thinking, mathematical intuition, and tool-building. The aim is not to collapse disciplines into one vocabulary, but to build useful translations among them.
Philosophy of mind, personhood, and dissociation
Models of selfhood, agency, identity over time, plurality, and the boundaries of persons. This arc asks how philosophical accounts of personhood change when minds are dynamic, distributed, or internally differentiated.
AI consciousness, AI ethics, and cognitive systems
Conceptual and computational work on artificial minds, cognitive feedback, value coherence, and ethical uncertainty. The emphasis is on careful criteria and interpretable models rather than premature declarations about consciousness.
Mathematical and scientific modeling
Geometric, dynamical, and network-based representations of cognition and identity, alongside scientific questions that connect mechanisms across molecular, biological, cognitive, and social scales.
Institutional and epistemic systems
How groups produce, route, distort, and act on knowledge. Topics include public reasoning, institutional incentives, crisis decision-making, governance, and the design of systems that remain legible under pressure.
